RIP Heath Ledger

As most would probably be aware by now, Perth born Heath Ledger died today at his New York home.

We’ll let the media go round in circles hypothesizing what happened, toxicology tests, etc.

I’d rather send my thoughts to his family in Perth who must be distraught. They not only have to deal with this media circus that is about to hit them, but they also have to deal with travelling for over a day just to get to where he is. A mother has lost a son at a very young age. Many friends in his home country & others abroad are shocked & sadden at losing him. And more importantly, a little girl has lost her father :-(

While the public craves for all kinds of information that they can obtain about what happened… spare a thought for how a lot of that information is obtained.

Give the Ledger’s a chance to mourn. Don’t speculate or presume about what happened. Let the coroner do that!

Spare a thought for a little girl who is one day going to be able to read all this gossip.

RIP Heath. Let’s hope everyone will let your family mourn, and carry on in peace!

The way to open a beer stubbie!

Don’t you just love YouTube! It seems that whenever you see something cool on TV, that you can usually find it on YouTube afterwards!

My latest acquisition is a fairly old Toohey’s beer commercial that was aired recently, and it still brings a giggle! Maybe it’s because I’m an aussie gal, but it is rather humourous!
